The Council of the London Borough of Enfield convened on Thursday, 26th February 2026, to discuss and set the Revenue Budget and Council Tax for the 2026/27 financial year, alongside updating the Council's five-year Medium-Term Financial Plan (MTFP). The meeting also covered the proposed Ten-Year Capital Programme for 2026/27 to 2035/36, the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) budget and rent setting for 2026/27, the Treasury Management Strategy for 2026/27, and the review and adoption of the statutory Pay Policy Statement. Additionally, members were scheduled to agree the Members' Allowances Scheme for 2026/27 and address any questions submitted by councillors.

The Council of the London Borough of Enfield met on Wednesday, 21st January, 2026, to discuss a range of important issues. Key topics scheduled for consideration included the Council Tax Base for 2026/27, several motions proposed by councillors on diverse subjects, and the confirmation of committee memberships and nominations to outside bodies. The meeting also included time for questions from councillors to cabinet members.

Councillor Conduct Committee - Monday, 17th November, 2025 7.00 pm

The Councillor Conduct Committee met to discuss an update on a complaint against Councillor Mohammad Islam, a review of member complaints, and guidance to members. The committee agreed that Councillor Bektas Ozer, Chair of the Committee, would write to Councillor Islam to express their disappointment that he had not complied with their requests and ask again that he apologise and complete the training asked of him. The committee also noted the date of the next meeting as Tuesday 14 April 2025.

Council - Wednesday, 12th November, 2025 7.00 pm

The Enfield Council meeting scheduled for 12 November 2025 included a recommendation from the Local Auditor, the adoption of the Fairer Enfield Policy, and changes to the council's constitution. Councillors were also scheduled to discuss a treasury management update and a number of motions on topics ranging from green belt protection to support for the armed forces community.
