The Council meeting on Wednesday 4th March 2026 saw the approval of the Council's budget for the upcoming financial year, including a proposed 2% increase in council tax for the adult social care precept. Significant capital investment plans were also approved, alongside updates to the Housing Revenue Account Business Plan and the Treasury Management Strategy. The Council also formally adopted changes to its Constitution and a new Code of Governance.

The Climate Action, Environment and Highways Policy and Scrutiny Committee were scheduled to meet to discuss the council's response to extreme weather, and its progress towards becoming a net zero city by 2040. Councillors were also expected to review and approve the committee's work programme for forthcoming meetings.

Housing and Regeneration Policy and Scrutiny Committee - Thursday 20th November, 2025 7.00 pm, NEW

The Housing and Regeneration Policy and Scrutiny Committee met to review a Cabinet Member decision regarding the future of the Pimlico District Heating Undertaking (PDHU). The committee ultimately decided to take no further action, allowing the Cabinet's decision to stand.
