The Strategic Planning Committee of Barnet Council met on Wednesday 13 November 2024 to discuss a planning application for the demolition and redevelopment of Unit 7, Staples Corner Retail Park, Geron Way, London NW2 6LW. The committee granted planning permission for the development, subject to conditions and the completion of a Section 106 agreement.

The Licensing and General Purposes Committee of Barnet Council met on Thursday 7 November 2024. The committee approved the revised Licensing Policy for 2025-2030 and recommended its adoption by the full council. They also noted the council's health, safety, and wellbeing performance for 2023/24 and agreed on priorities for the next two years.

The Planning Committee of Barnet Council met on Wednesday 30 October 2024, approving the demolition and rebuild of the Church Hall at St Mary the Virgin, and the change of use of a property at 7 Northfield Road to a children's home. The committee also granted consent for the removal of a false acacia tree at Fairfield Oakleigh Park North and a false acacia tree at 79 Oakleigh Park North, while refusing the removal of an oak tree at Fairfield Oakleigh Park North.
