The Children and Young People Select Committee noted the report on national SEND reform proposals and local planning. They were informed that SEND reform implementation is an evolving process mapped over three years. The committee also noted that significant co-production with stakeholders has occurred and will continue to shape the 'Lewisham Experts at Hand' model.

The Planning Committee A of Lewisham Council decided to authorise the Head of Planning to grant planning permission and listed building consent for the installation of a replacement roof light and fire safety upgrades at 7-69 Foreshore, SE8 on 23 June 2026. The decision included authorising the Head of Planning to grant planning permission for the roof light and listed building consent for the roof light, new fire-safe doors, and fire safety upgrades including basement tanks, ventilation, and a sprinkler system. Conditions were to be applied as considered appropriate to ensure acceptable implementation.
