The Cabinet of Derbyshire Council decided to approve the revised Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA) and Investigatory Powers Act (IPA) Policy on 30/07/2026. The policy update reflects current legislation, introduces clearer safeguards and governance, and strengthens transparency and oversight of investigatory powers. The decision included approving the revised policy at Appendix 2 to the report.

The Cabinet of Derbyshire Council decided to approve activities to increase the South Derbyshire Growth Zone project budget and bring forward necessary work and expenditure. The Cabinet of Derbyshire Council decided to approve recommendations regarding the Capital Outturn for 2025-26 on 30/07/2026. It was noted that capital expenditure was £114.130m, financed by grants, capital receipts, and reserves, with £11.168m financed by borrowing. Capital budgets totalling £228.629m will be reprofiled into future years.
