The West Northamptonshire Council Non-Strategic Planning Committee met on 7 August 2025 to discuss several planning applications and related matters. The committee approved applications for 8 Stimpson Avenue, 6 Banbury Lane, and Linfield, Duncote Road, while refusing applications for 4 Ivy Road and 45 Greenfield Avenue, contrary to officer recommendations. A decision on The Poplars Farm, The Green, was deferred.

Taxi & General Licensing Sub-Committee - Thursday 24th July 2025 11.00 am

The Taxi & General Licensing Sub-Committee of West Northamptonshire Council was scheduled to convene on 24 July 2025, to discuss a new private hire driver's licence. The Sub-Committee was also expected to decide whether to exclude the press and public from the meeting during the discussion of this item. Councillor Peter York, Vice-Chairman of the Council, Councillor Nigel Berrill and Councillor Adrian Cartwright were listed as the members of the Taxi & General Licensing Sub-Committee.

Extraordinary Meeting, Non-Strategic Planning Committee - Thursday 24th July 2025 6.00 pm

The Non-Strategic Planning Committee convened to discuss planning applications and a consultation response, making key decisions on developments in Kilsby and Upper Heyford, while also addressing future planning strategies. The committee refused an outline application for 19 dwellings in Kilsby, despite a previous approval, and approved a new self-build dwelling in Upper Heyford. Additionally, they agreed to send a draft response to the Rugby Borough Local Plan Preferred Option consultation.
