Alcohol & Gambling Licensing Committee

The Alcohol and Gambling Licensing Committee is responsible for making decisions on licensing policy and applications related to alcohol and gambling within West Northamptonshire, in line with the Licensing Act 2003 and the Gambling Act 2005.

This committee approves licensing policies, ensuring they comply with relevant legislation, except for matters reserved for the full Council or the Cabinet. It can also establish sub-committees, each with three members, to handle specific licensing applications under these Acts, granting them full delegated powers to make determinations.
