The committee granted the licence, subject to standard conditions, after hearing arguments from the applicant's agent and considering representations from local residents.

Strategic Planning Committee - Tuesday 21st October 2025 2.00 pm

The Strategic Planning Committee met on Tuesday to discuss four planning applications. Councillors approved reserved matters for industrial buildings at Towcester Park and approved recommendations for the Kab Seating Ltd site, while also refusing the Podium Business Park application and deferring a decision on the Car Park Railway Station application.

The Alcohol & Gambling Licensing Sub-Committee of West Northamptonshire Council met on Tuesday 21 October 2025 to consider a new premises licence application for Billing Garden Village. The committee decided to grant the licence, subject to several conditions, after hearing representations from the applicant and considering objections from the public.

The Non-Strategic Planning Committee of West Northamptonshire Council met on 9 October 2025, and approved plans for a children's home and a commercial development, and agreed to submit a statement of case regarding an appeal against non-determination of an application. A decision on a fourth planning application was withdrawn from the agenda.
