Council - Wednesday, 16 September 2026 - 4.00 pm

The Council meeting on Wednesday 16 September 2026 saw the appointment of a new Returning Officer and Electoral Registration Officer, Zina Etheridge, and the confirmation of Glenn Watson as Interim Monitoring Officer. Members also endorsed mandatory legislative changes to planning application decisions, adopted the Local Transport Plan 5, and approved the Buckinghamshire Youth Justice Plan for 2026-2029.

Council - Wednesday, 15th July, 2026 4.00 pm

The Council meeting on 15 July 2026 began with tributes to the late Jeff Williams, former Chief Executive of Buckinghamshire Council, and the adoption of the Buckinghamshire Council Corporate Plan 2026-2031. The meeting also saw the referral of a motion on community governance review to the Standards and General Purposes Committee and the passing of a motion regarding transparency in planning.

The Council meeting on Wednesday 20 May 2026 saw the election of a new Chairman and Vice-Chairman, Councillor John Chilver and Councillor Frank Mahon respectively. The meeting also included tributes to a former Chairman, Kenneth Ross MBE DL, and a long-serving officer, Sarah Ashmead, before moving on to approve the council's annual report and calendar of meetings for the upcoming year.
