Buckinghamshire Council Cabinet adopted the Tree Management Strategy 2026-2029 on 01/07/2026. The strategy aims to provide a consistent approach to tree management on council-owned land. An action plan will support the strategy's implementation.

Buckinghamshire Cabinet noted the submission of the Local SEND Reform Plan to the Department for Education on 01/07/2026. This plan is dependent on Secretary of State approval to secure the High Needs Stability Grant.

Buckinghamshire Council Cabinet decided on 01/07/2026 to note consultation results and amendments to the Local Transport Plan 5 and Freight and Logistics Strategy. The Cabinet approved these draft documents to proceed to Council for adoption. Approval of minor amendments to LTP5 was delegated to the Corporate Director of Planning, Growth and Sustainability in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Transport.

Buckinghamshire Cabinet decided on 01/07/2026 to authorise the Corporate Director for Resources, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Resources, to proceed with a conditional sale agreement for council-owned land at Abbey Barn Lane. This agreement is for the disposal of reserve land allocated for residential development, with conditions to be documented in a Collaboration Agreement. The Corporate Director for Resources, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Resources, is authorised to conclude negotiations for and enter into the Collaboration Agreement, appoint an agent to report on best consideration, and produce a further report to Cabinet following planning and marketing.

Buckinghamshire Cabinet adopted the amended Conservation Area boundary for Aylesbury and the updated Appraisal and Management Plan on 01/07/2026. The decision followed a public consultation which informed changes to the proposed areas.
