The Borough Council of Hounslow Council approved recommendations for appointments to outside bodies for the municipal year 2026/27 on 26 May 2026. The council agreed to make these appointments to ensure representation on various national, London-wide, and local bodies.

The Borough Council of Hounslow approved the establishment of formal council bodies and appointments to them on 26/05/2026. The council agreed to the appointments of councillors to various committees, sub-committees, and panels for the 2026/27 municipal year. This included the Shareholder Committee, Overview and Scrutiny Committee and its sub-groups, Regulatory Bodies, and other bodies such as the Pension Fund Panel.

The Borough Council of Hounslow elected Councillor Ranjit Gill as Mayor for the municipal year 2026/27 on 26/05/2026. The Chief Executive reported that Councillor Sahibaa Hussain was appointed Deputy Mayor for the same period.

The Borough Council of Hounslow Council on Tuesday 26 May 2026 resolved to note the names of the persons elected to serve as members of the Council of the London Borough of Hounslow for the period 2026-2030. The council approved the recommendations presented.

The Borough Council of Hounslow Council appointed Councillor Shantanu Rajawat as Leader and Councillor Tom Bruce as Deputy Leader on 26 May 2026. The Council also noted the appointments of nine Cabinet Members with specific responsibilities and five Cabinet Assistants.
