The function of the Place & Environment Scrutiny Committee is : · To fulfil all scrutiny functions of the Council in relation to flood risk under the Flood and Water Management Act 2010 · To fulfil all scrutiny functions of the Council’s designated Crime and Disorder Committee under the Police and Justice Act 2006. · To review and scrutinise the following areas; o Transport o Regeneration o Neighbourhoods o Housing o Highways o Climate o Community Safety o Leisure o Tourism o Social Housing o Enviro-crime o Waste Request to speak If you want to address one of the Scrutiny Committees you will need to give two full working days notice before the meeting. You can make a statement which must relate to an agenda item and you will be expected to attend the meeting to read out your statement. You will have a maximum of three minutes to make your statement and it will be made at the start of the relevant agenda item. Your statement will be considered during the subsequent debate.
