Overview & Scrutiny Committee

The Overview and Scrutiny Committee performs an essential democratic function by examining and monitoring the performance of services provided by the council and other agencies. The committee can review and critically assess the council’s budget and policies, whist holding cabinet members to account by conducting detailed interviews in how they are improving services.   Scrutiny committee meetings are accessible to the public, whilst also being livestreamed and recorded.
