The Health and Wellbeing Board (HWB) and Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) meet jointly to improve the health and wellbeing of Surrey's population, with a particular focus on reducing health inequalities. The HWB is responsible for developing the Surrey Health and Well-being Strategy, Joint Strategic Needs Assessment, and Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment. The ICP develops the Integrated Care Strategy, ensuring shared oversight of prevention and health inequalities initiatives.
These combined meetings, which include senior representatives from key organisations, aim to provide system leadership. Formal meetings are held publicly four times a year, with opportunities for public questions submitted in advance. Informal private meetings and Walkabout
sessions also occur.
