The Tower Hamlets Health and Wellbeing Board is a statutory committee established to improve the health and wellbeing of local residents by fostering collaboration between NHS, public health, and local government bodies. It steers and advises on approaches that integrate health and social care services and address wider determinants of health. The Board provides democratic oversight of the local Health & Care Partnership and Tower Hamlets Together, and develops a statutory Health & Wellbeing Strategy outlining its plans and ambitions for the borough.
