The Non-Strategic Planning Committee is responsible for determining planning applications for development and town and country planning that are not handled by the Strategic Planning Committee or delegated to council officers. It considers applications for major residential developments of 10 or more dwellings, major commercial developments over 1000 sq.m, and developments on sites over one hectare. The committee may also consider minor developments in exceptional circumstances or if called in by a councillor.
