Eastern Area Planning Committee

The Eastern Area Planning Committee is responsible for considering and deciding on planning applications within its geographical area that are not handled by the Strategic Planning Committee or delegated to council officers. It also addresses local planning matters, including the creation and modification of conservation areas, village design statements, and parish plans. The committee also deals with the registration of common land, variations of common rights, and issues related to public rights of way.
