The Grants Determination (Cabinet) Sub-Committee of Tower Hamlets Council met on Wednesday, 1 July 2026. The committee noted its terms of reference, membership, and meeting dates for the municipal year 2026-2027. The committee also noted the performance of the Mayor's Community Grants Programme (MCGP) and received updates on funding awarded under delegated authority, including emergency funding and community benefit rent reductions. Consideration of options for the future of the Mayor's Community Grants Programme (MCGP) and Emergency Fund was deferred pending further discussions with the Mayor and Chief Executive. Additionally, the committee authorised the Corporate Director of Children's Services to issue grants for High Needs Provision Capital Allocation and for ICT at Wood Wharf Primary School.
