The Strategic Investment Board is scheduled to consider the future of Surrey Property Group's assets and receive an update on Halsey Garton Residential. The meeting will also include time for questions and petitions from the public.

Surrey Property Group Asset Strategy

A report is scheduled to be presented regarding the preferred strategy for transferring Surrey Property Group's (SPG) property assets into Surrey County Council (SCC). This is being considered in advance of Local Government Reorganisation (LGR). Decisions made on this item can be called in by the Resources and Performance Select Committee.

Halsey Garton Residential Update

An update on Halsey Garton Residential (HGR) is also scheduled to be discussed. This report was not available at the time of publication but will be published as soon as it is ready. Similar to the SPG Asset Strategy, any decisions made regarding HGR can be called in by the Resources and Performance Select Committee.

Questions and Petitions

The board is scheduled to receive any questions or petitions submitted. Members of the public who are electors in the Surrey County Council area can submit one written question to a meeting by a specified deadline. These questions should relate to general policy and not to specific details, and cannot concern confidential or exempt matters. A maximum of six public questions can be asked at a meeting, with any received after the sixth being held over or dealt with in writing at the Chairman's discretion. Questions will be addressed in the order they are received and will be answered without discussion. The Chairman or Cabinet members may choose to decline to answer a question, provide a written reply, or nominate another Member to respond. Following an initial reply, the questioner may ask one supplementary question, which the Chairman or Cabinet members may also decline to answer.
