The Cabinet of Croydon Council agreed to approve the Mayor's Delivery Plan 2026-2030. The plan sets out how the council will deliver its priorities, with progress to be monitored and reported every six months and reviewed annually.

The Corporate Director of Children, Young People & Education decided on 07 August 2026 to agree to terminate the contract for the provision of children's residential services with St Christopher's on 3 months' notice. This decision was made due to concerns regarding the outcomes experienced by children and the provider's inability to consistently demonstrate the required capability. The decision includes intensifying monitoring of children during the notice period and supporting their transition to appropriate placements.

The Executive Mayor and Cabinet were recommended on 14/10/2026 to authorise consultation on renewing the Public Space Protection Order in Thornton Heath and the surrounding area for a further three years. This decision aims to continue tackling anti-social behaviour, including street drinking and public nuisance, which has seen a reduction of 3.4% in the PSPO area. The consultation will gather feedback from the public and partners.
