The Strategic Planning Committee of West Northamptonshire Council approved an outline planning application for up to 450 dwellings on land north east of Brackley Grange Cottages, Halse Road, Brackley on 18 August 2026. The approval is subject to amended conditions and the completion of a S106 Agreement. This includes provisions for affordable housing, financial contributions towards primary healthcare, education, libraries, sustainable transport, open space, refuse and recycling, and biodiversity net gain.

The Strategic Planning Committee of West Northamptonshire Council approved reserved matters for 128 dwellings on land at Towcester Vale, Towcester, NN12 6LB on 18 August 2026. The decision was made in line with the officer's recommendation, subject to conditions. The approval includes the layout, appearance, landscaping, and scale of the development.

The Strategic Planning Committee approved the reserved matters application for 35 dwellings and associated infrastructure at Land at Overstone Lane, Overstone on 18 August 2026. The decision was made in line with the officer's recommendation, subject to conditions.

The Strategic Planning Committee of West Northamptonshire Council approved reserved matters for parcel B2 at Dallington Grange on 18 August 2026. The decision approved the appearance, landscaping, layout, and scale for 169 dwellings, subject to conditions. These conditions include measures for crime prevention, surface treatment of roads, walking and cycling, noise assessment, refuse storage, EV charging points, and landscaping and ecological management plans.

The Strategic Planning Committee of West Northamptonshire Council approved the construction of a solar photovoltaic farm on 14th July 2026. The decision was made in line with officer recommendations, subject to conditions. Conditions include securing biodiversity mitigation, a Construction Environmental Management Plan, a lighting strategy, Biodiversity Net Gain measures, soil management, restoration and aftercare, a detailed drainage design, long-term maintenance, erosion control, verification of drainage infrastructure, a Written Scheme of Investigation, and a Heritage Management Plan.
