Boston Council's Cabinet approved the introduction of the Build it in Boston scheme on 30 September 2026. The scheme aims to attract high-value, high-growth businesses, particularly in digital and IT services. The Cabinet approved the allocation of £15,000 for a marketing campaign and £30,000 for a relocation support fund, with delegated authority to the Service Director - Strategic Growth and Development to finalise and implement the scheme.

Boston Cabinet noted the forecast revenue position of a £0.055m deficit for 2026/27 and amendments to the Capital Programme on 30 September 2026. The Cabinet approved recommendations to identify opportunities for further efficiencies.

The Cabinet of Boston Council on 30 September 2026 approved recommendations from the Town Centre Review Task & Finish Group. The council will note the report, consider a broader definition of the town centre, explore measures to reduce vacancy, prioritise public realm improvements, review promotion and marketing, and develop an officer response with a progress update within six months.

Boston Cabinet noted the quarterly performance and risk monitoring information for Quarter 1 of 2026/27 and approved the Risk Appetite Statement on 30 September 2026.

Boston Cabinet approved a variation to the maximum hackney carriage fares on 30 September 2026. This approval is subject to statutory notices being advertised and no objections being received during the consultation period.
