The Eltham Crematorium Joint Committee noted information regarding cremation, memorial sales, operational issues, a donation to Ellenor Hospice, the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, the Greener Globe Funeral Award, and prospective member attendance at the 70th anniversary on 23 June 2026. The committee approved recommendations to continue supporting Greenwich & Bexley Cottage Hospice and Ellenor Hospice. Officers will incorporate upgrades to enhance the safe storage of the deceased and introduce CCTV within the Committal room.

The Eltham Crematorium Joint Committee on 23 June 2026 noted the progress of the 3-year works programme and agreed to a £25,000 programmed maintenance regime for small ponds. They also noted that works programmed for 2026/7 have been deferred, with only retention payments scheduled for release.

The Eltham Crematorium Joint Committee of Greenwich Council decided to note the progress of the 3-year works programme and the tendered works and fee of £1,485,875, which showed a projected shortfall of £104,385. The committee confirmed to defer work to 2027/8 and agreed to re-profile the 3-year budget to facilitate works in 2025/6 and 2026/7, moving the North Chapel refurbishment back to enable wider Cemetery repair to the Burial Chapel to complete first.
