Council - Monday, 20 July 2026 - 6.30 pm
The Croydon Council meeting on 20 July 2026 saw the adoption of the Safer Croydon Partnership Community Safety Strategy 2026-2029, which builds on previous progress in reducing crime and enhancing partnership working. The Council also agreed to adopt the updated Webb Estate and Upper Woodcote Village Conservation Areas Appraisal and Management Plan (CAAMP) to guide future development and conservation efforts. Additionally, the Health and Wellbeing Board's Annual Report for 2025 and proposed updates to its Terms of Reference were approved.
Ethics Committee - Wednesday, 15 July 2026 - 7.00 pm
The Croydon Ethics Committee met on Wednesday 15 July 2026 to review ethics complaints, member learning and development, and declarations of gifts and hospitality. The committee noted the contents of reports on each of these matters.
Annual Council, Council - Wednesday, 27th May, 2026 6.30 pm
The Council meeting on 27 May 2026 saw the formal appointment of Councillor Mohammed Islam as the new Civic Mayor and Councillor Scott Roche as the Deputy Civic Mayor for the 2026-2027 municipal year. The meeting also included the Executive Mayor's annual statement, outlining priorities for the coming years, and the appointment of Conrad Hall as the Corporate Director of Resources and Section 151 Officer.
Council - Wednesday, 15th April, 2026 6.30 pm
The Council meeting saw the appointment of His Honour Judge Edward Connell as the new Honorary Recorder of the London Borough of Croydon. Significant changes to the Council Procedure Rules were also approved, aimed at preparing the council for potential shifts in political composition following the upcoming Mayoral and Local Elections. The meeting also included valedictory speeches from several councillors marking the end of their service.
