Approval of the Housing Management Service’s new Asset Management Strategy

The Housing Management (Cabinet) Sub-Committee decided to approve the Housing Management Service’s new Asset Management Strategy on 27/03/2026. The strategy sets out the Council’s vision and framework for managing housing assets across Tower Hamlets. Specific actions include developing building safety cases by June 2026, allocating resources for damp and mould remediation, and investing £609 million to ensure all properties meet the Decent Homes Standard by 2030.
