The Environment Scrutiny Committee noted amendments to the Lincolnshire Minerals and Waste Local Plan Proposed Submission Version and the Site Assessment Report. These amendments were made to reflect new appendices, tables, updated population figures, and correct drafting and formatting errors.

The Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority - Employment and Skills Board decided on 05/08/2026 to approve recommendations subject to call-in. The Board noted the direction to adopt national rules for adult education eligibility and that the Greater Lincolnshire Funding Rules have been revised to reflect these national residency eligibility rules from 01 August 2026. The revised rules align with national DfE policy, and include specific provisions for learners with limited length visas and asylum seekers.

The Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority - Employment and Skills Board of Lincolnshire Council decided on 05/08/2026 to approve recommendations regarding adult skills funding. They noted progress on Year 1 programmes, approved new engineering funding for Skills Bootcamps, and noted an Expression of Interest for construction funding. They also approved acceptance of construction funding if awarded and delegated budget management and contract termination authority.
