Health and Adult Social Care Scrutiny - Thursday, 29th January, 2026 7.00 pm

The Health and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Committee is scheduled to consider the recommissioning of vital children's services, review a new partnership agreement for the Better Care Fund, and discuss the outcomes of a recent Care Quality Commission inspection of Adult Social Care. The committee will also review its forward plan and track actions and recommendations from previous meetings.

Council - Thursday, 11th December, 2025 7.30 pm

The Council of Waltham Forest was scheduled to meet on 11 December 2025 to discuss several topics, including the council tax support scheme, fees and charges for 2026/27, and a proposed new smoke control order. Councillors were also scheduled to discuss the Corporate Parenting Board annual report and a protocol for honorary alderpeople.

Scrutiny Coordinating Committee - Tuesday, 9th December, 2025 7.00 pm

The Scrutiny Coordinating Committee was scheduled to meet to review corporate impact, discuss the delivery of Mission Waltham Forest, and receive an update on the Corporate Peer Challenge. Councillors were also expected to review and comment on the action tracker from the previous meeting.

Health and Adult Social Care Scrutiny - Wednesday, 3rd December, 2025 7.00 pm

The Health and Adult Social Care Scrutiny were scheduled to meet to discuss the Safeguarding Adults Board Strategic Plan for 2025-28, and to receive an update from Whipps Cross Hospital (Barts Health NHS Trust) on the findings of a Care Quality Commission (CQC) report. Councillors were also expected to review the committee's forward plan, action tracker and recommendations tracker.
