The meeting also agreed to the recommendation for the appointment of Conrad Hall as the Corporate Director of Resources and Section 151 Officer, and agreed to recommendations regarding the political balance and composition of the Council's committees for the upcoming municipal year.

The Council meeting on 15 April 2026 saw the appointment of a new Honorary Recorder and discussions regarding proposed changes to the Council Procedure Rules.
