The Transport Committee of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority met on Wednesday 09 September 2026. The committee recommended to the Combined Authority Board the approval of a package of bus service changes for the Fenland area, summarised in section 4B of Appendix A. Similar recommendations were made for Huntingdonshire (sections 4D, 4E & 4F of Appendix A), South Cambridgeshire & Cambridge City (section 4G of Appendix A), East Cambridgeshire (section 4H of Appendix A), and Peterborough (section 4I of Appendix A). Delegated authority was recommended for the Assistant Director, Public Transport, in consultation with the Director for Legal and Governance and the Chief Finance Officer, to implement these proposals, including finalising procurement and awarding contracts, subject to affordability and legal compliance.

Capital Transport Programme – Prioritisation Framework
