The Corporate Infrastructure and Regulatory Services Scrutiny Committee met on 25 March 2026 to discuss improving broadband connectivity in rural areas and the future delivery model for highways maintenance. The committee resolved to request a review of national broadband policy, establish a task force to monitor the voucher scheme, and review the decision not to endorse 5G on council assets.
