The Executive Mayor and Cabinet of Croydon Council agreed to receive recommendations from the Scrutiny & Overview Committee and provide a substantive response at a future meeting. Additionally, the council will explore collaborative opportunities with neighbouring boroughs for SEND provision, lobby to improve tracking of looked-after children and children with SEND, engage in pre-engagement with partners before consulting on the Council Tax Support Scheme, strengthen consultation materials, explore options for increasing investment in advice services, maintain engagement with partner organisations, review referral processes for external advice providers, and provide further information on the framework underpinning the Mayor's Delivery Plan, clarify the role of climate action, and present regular reviews of the Plan to the Scrutiny and Overview Committee.
