The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority approved material changes to the Gather project, extending its completion date to March 31, 2027. The Authority also noted immaterial changes to other Strategic Investment Fund projects. These decisions were made on April 17, 2026.

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority decided to approve recommendations regarding the Integrated Settlement on 17/04/2026. The Authority noted the contents of the report, the readiness check, and the Outcomes Framework. It also approved the establishment of a Strategic Investment Board to oversee delivery and granted it delegated authority to exercise settlement flexibilities.

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority adopted the Liverpool City Region's Local Transport Plan on 17 April 2026. The plan was agreed and adopted as a Core Plan and a Delivery Plan. Delegated authority was granted to the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Transport, to make typographical or presentational amendments prior to final publication.

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority approved recommendations regarding a bus franchising service permit scheme on 17 April 2026. The authority agreed to the contents of the Service Permit Statutory Consultation Full Consultation Report and the proposed Service Permit Policy Statement. Specific officer actions include marking mandatory fields on the application form, waiving the initial application fee for existing services, and adding fields for cross-boundary and existing service status.

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority approved the draft LCRCA Housing Strategy 2026-31 on 17 April 2026. The Chief Executive, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Housing and Regeneration, was granted delegated authority to make typographical or presentational amendments before publication. The proposed approach and timetable for developing the accompanying Strategy Delivery Plan were also noted.
