Council - Wednesday 4th March, 2026 7.00 pm

The Council meeting on Wednesday 4th March 2026 saw the approval of the Council's budget for the upcoming financial year, including a proposed 2% increase in council tax for the adult social care precept. Significant capital investment plans were also approved, alongside updates to the Housing Revenue Account Business Plan and the Treasury Management Strategy. The Council also formally adopted changes to its Constitution and a new Code of Governance.

Staff Appeals Sub-Committee - Monday 2nd March, 2026 10.00 am

The Staff Appeals Sub-Committee of Westminster Council was scheduled to consider an appeal from a former employee. The meeting's agenda indicated that the sub-committee would hear from both the appellant and the management panel, followed by deliberations on the original dismissal decision.

The Council approved the delegation of functions under the London Squares Preservation Act 1931 to its Strategic and Planning Sub-Committees and adopted the programme of meetings for 2026/2027. A motion was also passed reaffirming the Council's commitment to tackling racism and discrimination and supporting inclusive communities.
