The Communities Overview and Scrutiny Committee considered a call-in regarding changes to residents' parking permits in Stratford-upon-Avon. On 14 August 2026, the committee resolved to approve the recommendations made by the Portfolio Holder for Transport and Planning. The decision included approving the making of the relevant order and requesting monitoring and further investigation into measures to mitigate parking zones becoming over-subscribed.

The Portfolio Holder for Finance and Property approved the commencement of public consultation on Warwickshire County Council’s 2027/28 budget priorities, spending levels, and Council Tax options. This decision was made on 25/09/2026 and also approved the draft consultation material for publication.

The Resources and Fire & Rescue Overview and Scrutiny Committee considered and commented on the draft Terms of Reference for an assurance review of policies and processes in Warwickshire's libraries and other public spaces. This review was commissioned by the Leader of the Council and will be led by three portfolio holders supported by officers.

The council resolved to engage with public organisations to support local farmers and game dealers, support sustainable shooting on council land, and ask officers to explore how shooting and conservation can help achieve environmental targets and improve opportunities for young people. Officers will also provide information on deer in road traffic collisions and consider a deer management plan. The council will write to local MPs requesting support for British farmers and sustainable shooting.

The County Council of Warwickshire Council resolved on 17 March 2026 to approve recommendations. An external investigation will be commissioned into the release of confidential information regarding a Member Code of Conduct investigation.

The County Council of Warwickshire Council resolved to approve recommendations on 17/03/2026. The Council will welcome and support the National Year of Reading, commit to working with local partners to promote reading, and encourage councillors and staff to participate in related activities. The Leader will complete an online pledge, and the Council will encourage the use of email signatures and volunteering.
