Mandy Quayle, Director of People and Digital Services, decided on 19/08/2025 to order up to 600 Dell monitors and 900 Samsung mobile phones. This decision was made following consultation with Cllr Colin Hay, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance, Assets & Transformation.

County Councillor Colin Hay, Deputy Leader & Cabinet Member for Finance, Assets & Transformation, decided on 02/10/2025 to delegate authority to the Deputy Chief Executive and Executive Director of Corporate Resources to conduct a mini competition and award a contract for actuarial services to the Gloucestershire Pension Fund. The contract will be for an initial period of 4 years with an option to extend for a further 3 years.

Siobhan Farmer, Director of Public Health, decided on 02/12/2025 to retrospectively confirm the removal of Emergency Hormonal Contraception services from the Public Health Enhanced Services Contract with effect from 28th October 2025. Provision will transfer to the National Pharmacy Contract with NHSE from 29th October 2025.

County Councillor Colin Hay, Deputy Leader & Cabinet Member for Finance, Assets & Transformation, decided on 09/06/2026 to approve the appointment of Oliver Woodhams as a Local Authority Non-Executive Director on the Board of Ubico Ltd. Authority was delegated to the Deputy Chief Executive and Executive Director of Resources to finalise the terms of the appointment.

The Cabinet of Gloucestershire Council decided to approve recommendations regarding the M5 Junction 9 and A46 Transport Scheme on 22 July 2026. The Cabinet delegated authority to the Executive Director of Economy, Environment and Infrastructure, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Business, Economic Development, Planning & Infrastructure, to award a call-off contract for highways consultancy services to AtkinsRealis, continue work on the scheme's Strategic Outline Case and Outline Business Case up to 31 October 2026 with a cost cap of £534k, and increase scheme approvals by £360k.

The Director of Children's Services decided on 16/06/2026 to appoint preferred tenderers to a new multi-supplier open framework agreement for supported accommodation for 16 & 17 year old looked after children and care leavers. The framework will allow for the admission of new suppliers and the procurement of call-off contracts for supported accommodation services.

The Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance, Assets and Transformation decided on 21/07/2026 to approve a modification to increase the value of the Minor Reactive Works and Statutory Servicing Framework Agreement from £5.6 million to £8.1 million. This will enable the variation of call-off contracts for ongoing statutory servicing and reactive minor works until a new framework commences.

The Interim Assistant Director of Asset Management & Property Services decided on 12/06/2026 to award a works contract to Snape Contracting for the supply of an additional bedroom to a private homeowner's property as part of a pilot project to support foster carers. The contract has a maximum cost of £115,200 and works are expected to be completed before the end of 2026.

The Cabinet of Gloucestershire Council approved a twenty-four-month extension to contracts for recycling, general waste, food, and confidential waste collection services for schools and corporate properties, commencing 1 May 2027. This extension will be implemented through contract modifications.

County Councillor Linda Cohen, Cabinet Member for Education & Skills, approved the adoption, publication, and implementation of the Get Gloucestershire Working Plan on 10 May 2026. Authority was delegated to the Director of Economy and Environment to implement the plan's recommendations.

County Councillor Martin Horwood, Cabinet Member for Nature, Climate and Waste Reduction, and County Councillor Colin Hay, Cabinet Member for Finance, Assets and Transformation, exercised general exception rules to approve an urgent three-year extension to the electricity sales contract with EDF Energy Ltd, commencing 1 October 2026. This decision was made on 1 May 2026 due to volatile electricity prices and the need to secure a favourable price for the upcoming winter period.

The Cabinet decided to approve the direct award of a call-off contract for system maintenance and support services for Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service's Vision5 and Integrated Communication Control Systems. This decision was made on 22/07/2026. The contract will be awarded to NEC Software Solutions UK Limited for a period of five years.
