The Audit Committee of Lincolnshire Council met on Monday 27 July 2026 to review the draft statements of accounts for the 2025/26 financial year, discuss the annual report of the Monitoring Officer, and consider proposed amendments to the Council's Constitution. The committee also received the Information Assurance Annual Report for 2025/26 and the Annual Governance Statement.

Audit Committee - Monday, 22 June 2026 - 10.00 am

The Lincolnshire County Council Audit Committee met on Monday 22 June 2026 to review the council's risk profile, internal audit performance, and external audit plans. Key discussions included the overall adequate assurance rating for the council's risk management, the internal audit opinion for the 2025-26 financial year, and the external audit plans for the council and the Lincolnshire Pension Fund for 2025-26. The committee also discussed changes to legislation regarding the publication of members' home addresses in their registers of interest and selected Artificial Intelligence (AI) as the focus for a strategic risk deep dive review.

Executive - Tuesday, 9th June, 2026 10.30 am

The Executive of Lincolnshire Council met on Tuesday 9 June 2026, approving a new Minerals and Waste Local Plan, adopting a Local Nature Recovery Strategy, and endorsing a Children in Care and Care Leavers Strategy. The meeting also saw the approval of a contract extension for the Housing Related Support Service, the adoption of the Council Plan Performance Framework for 2026, and appointments to various outside bodies.

Executive - Tuesday, 4th November, 2025 10.30 am

The Lincolnshire Council Executive met on Tuesday to discuss active recovery beds, the adult social care strategy, the sufficiency strategy for special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and alternative provision, and the rights of way improvement plan. Councillors voted to approve the recommissioning of active recovery beds, and the SEND strategy, and to adopt the rights of way improvement plan. However, they voted to reject the adult social care strategy, sending it back for further review and engagement.

Audit Committee - Monday, 21st July, 2025 10.00 am

The Lincolnshire Audit Committee met to discuss the annual report of the monitoring officer, the external audit value for money report, a risk management progress report, the draft statement of accounts, and the audit strategy and charter. The committee approved recommendations to receive and consider the annual report of the monitoring officer and to consider the external audit value for money risk assessment report. They also noted the internal audit strategy and approved the internal audit charter.
