About

The Communities Committee is one of Aberdeenshire Council's four Policy Committees. It is responsible for a range of services including adult social work (excluding those managed by the Integration Joint Board), community planning, housing, lifelong learning, and leisure. The committee also oversees matters related to the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and the Scottish Police Authority, and monitors the Health and Social Care Integration Joint Board.
