Northamptonshire Police, Fire and Crime Panel approved the minutes of their meeting held on 4 February 2026. The panel endorsed the Police and Crime Commissioner's proposed police precept for 2026/27. They also endorsed the proposal to increase the fire precept by the maximum allowable amount without a local referendum, up to £12 per year for Band D Council Tax.

The joint Enabling Services team revised their recruitment campaign and recruited a dedicated Recruitment Manager.
