The Cabinet decided to note the strategic risk register and the arrangements for managing strategic risk on 23/07/2026. The Cabinet also advised of any further information they would find beneficial in future reporting to strengthen their understanding of how the council manages its risks. The decision was made subject to call-in.

The Cabinet of Tunbridge Wells decided to approve proceeding with works to deliver the cemetery depot on the Crematorium Lodge site. This decision was made on 23/07/2026. The decision includes approving the budget for the works, authorising the Head of Property and Estates to oversee development, and authorising the Head of Mid Kent Legal Services to complete necessary deeds and agreements.

The Cabinet of Tunbridge Wells Council recommended to Full Council on 23 July 2026 that an individual be awarded a Civic Medallion. The decision supports the nomination of the individual for the award of a Civic Medallion. The costs for the award and presentation will be met from the existing Mayoral Function budget.

The Cabinet decided to make appointments to outside bodies on 23 July 2026. Appointments were made as detailed in Appendix A, with consideration given to vacant posts. Members will be allocated to organisations where the council should appoint a representative.

The Cabinet decided to note the publication of the Kent and Medway Local Nature Recovery Strategy and have regard to it in future decision-making on 23/07/2026. Authority to consider the strategy within development management and plan making was delegated to the Head of Planning. Information on the strategy will be published on the Council's website.
