The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority approved a material change request for the Halsnead Symmetry Park project on 12 June 2026. This decision increases project outputs to 86,400 sq m of floorspace, confirms the maximum grant remains £3,791,674, and extends the project completion date to 31 March 2031. The authority will delegate authority to the Executive Director of Investment and Delivery to agree variations to the Grant Funding Agreement.

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority approved recommendations regarding the Strategic Investment Fund on 12/06/2026. The Authority noted the fund's performance update and agreed to changes for the Liverpool City Region Ventures (LYVA Labs) project, including a Phase 1 completion date extension to 31st December 2027. The Authority also noted immaterial and intermediate changes made to other Strategic Investment Fund projects.

The decision maker delegated authority to the Executive Director – Place, in consultation with statutory officers, for the award of the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) Concession Contract. This decision allows for the procurement process to conclude and a supplier to be appointed for the delivery of electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the region.

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority approved recommendations regarding a bus franchising service permit scheme on 17 April 2026. The authority agreed to the contents of the Service Permit Statutory Consultation Full Consultation Report and the proposed Service Permit Policy Statement. Specific officer actions include marking mandatory fields on the application form, waiving the initial application fee for existing services, and adding fields for cross-boundary and existing service status.

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority approved the draft LCRCA Housing Strategy 2026-31 on 17 April 2026. The Chief Executive, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Housing and Regeneration, was granted delegated authority to make typographical or presentational amendments before publication. The proposed approach and timetable for developing the accompanying Strategy Delivery Plan were also noted.
