The Full Council is the primary political body for Enfield Council, comprising all 63 elected councillors. It sets the overall strategic direction, policy framework, and financial limits for the council's operations and services.
The Full Council makes major decisions on council policies, strategies, services, and budgets, including setting the Council Tax. It debates key local issues, allows councillors to ask questions of Cabinet Members, and considers motions on council powers or borough-wide matters. The committee also appoints the Mayor and other key roles, approves the council's Constitution, and confers civic honours.
