The Cornwall Council is scheduled to convene on Tuesday 3 November 2026. The agenda includes recommendations from the Chief Officers Employment Committee regarding recruitment and interim arrangements for key roles within the council. Public questions will also be taken.
Chief Officer Recruitment and Interim Arrangements
The meeting is set to consider recommendations from the Chief Officers Employment Committee concerning the recruitment of chief officers. This includes discussions on the appointment of an interim Chief Financial Officer and interim Chief Executive. These reports are expected to be available on Monday 2 November 2026, following the committee's meeting on 29 October 2026.
The agenda also includes a section for questions from the public, which must be submitted to the Monitoring Officer by 12 noon on Thursday 29 October 2026. For this extraordinary meeting, questions must relate to the issues on the agenda.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at County Hall, Truro1 at 2:00 pm. A livestream of the meeting will be available via a link on the Cornwall Council website.
