The Housing and Regeneration Policy and Scrutiny Committee met to review a Cabinet Member decision regarding the Warwick Avenue Public Realm Scheme. The committee voted to take no further action, allowing the decision to stand.

Licensing Sub-Committee (4) - Tuesday 17th March, 2026 10.00 am

The Westminster City Council Licensing Sub-Committee met on Tuesday 17 March 2026 to consider an expedited review of the premises licence for Food Works, located at 51 Strutton Ground, London, SW1P 2HY. The Metropolitan Police Service applied for the review due to concerns that the premises are associated with serious crime. As a result of the serious nature of the allegations and an ongoing criminal investigation, the committee agreed to hold the hearing in private. The subcommittee decided to suspend the licence for Food Works pending a full review.

Council - Wednesday 4th March, 2026 7.00 pm

The Council meeting on Wednesday 4th March 2026 saw the approval of the Council's budget for the upcoming financial year, including a proposed 2% increase in council tax for the adult social care precept. Significant capital investment plans were also approved, alongside updates to the Housing Revenue Account Business Plan and the Treasury Management Strategy. The Council also formally adopted changes to its Constitution and a new Code of Governance.

Licensing Committee - Wednesday 11th February, 2026 6.30 pm

The Licensing Committee of Westminster Council met on Wednesday 11 February 2026 to review licensing fees, discuss proposed changes to the Statement of Licensing Policy, and receive an update on licensing appeals. The committee approved the proposed licensing fees for 2026-2027, noted the report on the Statement of Licensing Policy review, and noted the update on licensing appeals.
